A custom-built research assistant, idea engine and second brain, trained on my writing and research.
I’ve been fascinated with ChatGPT since my stepson started using it to rap battle his friends. Of course, that was just scratching the surface of what it can do. As I’m sure we’ve all learned, the more context you give it, the more mind-blowing the results.
To that end, AmandaBot is a GPT-based AI assistant I’ve trained on the tech industry articles I read every day along with 15 years of executive bylines, white papers, strategy docs and outlines I’ve created for major tech brands.
According to AmandaBot, she “reflects the way I think about enterprise technology: the angles I gravitate toward, the structure I use to explain complex ideas and the tone I maintain across formats. She understands the expectations of B2B readers, the strategic nuances of messaging and the editorial standards I bring to every project.”
Wow. That’s great. I’ll add that she is strong at helping me develop abstracts, test angles, locate citations and dig into new concepts. I help her keep her facts straight, put ideas in their larger context and sound more human with top-to-bottom rewrites.
We’re a good team. Maybe because we both enjoy predicting what comes next.*
