I started my tech career as a writer, but not because I’m a “word nerd.” For me, writing has always been a vehicle for something bigger: understanding the forces shaping our world.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to ghostwrite for some of the brightest minds in tech — executives and thought leaders at companies like Dell, Intel, Samsung, SonicWall, Secureworks, Boeing and Lenovo. These were people with bold ideas about how their technologies would shape the future of work, education, cybersecurity, medicine and more. I was brought in to sharpen and communicate those ideas, and in the process, I received a tech education most people would be lucky to buy, much less be paid for.
Along the way, I found myself going deep into subjects like AI, CRISPR, quantum computing and enterprise cybersecurity — not just to write about them, but because I genuinely wanted to understand them. I read constantly. I built a custom GPT trained on everything I’ve written, which now acts as my AI research assistant. Every day, it helps me dig into questions and build my own informed perspective on where technology is headed next.
Today, I’m expanding my offerings. I’m still writing, but I’m also making myself available as a Tech SME for Hire — someone who can help connect the dots between the news cycle and what it means for your brand.
